One-Owner 1962 Fender Jaguar Electric Guitar
Lot Details & Additional Photographs
Serial number 85845, standard sunburst finish, two pickups, bolt-on maple neck with integral headstock sporting a row of Kluson Deluxe tuners, 24 in. scale, rosewood slab board with inlaid clay dot position markers. Included here are the guitar's original hardshell case, a later Crate CR-112 portable amp and a folding metal guitar stand.

This guitar was cherished by its original owner, an accomplished country musician, from the day he bought it in 1962 until his death on Christmas Day 2017. None of his descendants are players and it is their fervent hope that this guitar passes into the able hands of a dedicated musician.

Noticeable playing wear to the fingerboard between the first and twelfth frets and corresponding finish wear to the neck; moderate scuffs and dings as expected of a workhorse player; trivial spotting to metallic elements; straight neck and easy to play; the electronics do work, however produce some static and provide uneven current to the channels; the case is solid as a rock with light stains and wear appropriate for its respectable age.
