Being allegedly from a North Carolina estate associated with Davidson's first president Dr. Robert Hall Morrison, who had the additional distinction of being father-in-law to Confederate generals Thomas Jonathan "Stonewall" Jackson, Daniel Harvey Hill and Rufus Barringer. Included are the following as yet unidentified photographs: sixth plate daguerreotype of a young gentleman in a leather case resembling a book with brass hasp and mother-of-pearl inlays; sixth plate loose daguerreotype of another young man (no case); sixth plate loose ambrotyope of a young woman; loose ninth plate ambrotype of a young woman; loose ninth plate ambrotype of a young man; half case with ninth plate tintype of a young lady.
