Circa 1840, bookmatched flame mahogany veneers, ogee crestrail, scrolled arms, later gold silk upholstery with original horsehair fill, repeating ogee skirt with applied gadrooned edge, on bold scrolled feet, with casters, old chalk inscription to underside.
