Late 19th century or early 20th century, finely painted satsuma bowl with figures having tea on outside terrace beneath a folding screen, and the exterior of bowl painted with images of noble figures in interior and exterior settings, signed with four character mark to the underside that may read Ryuzan, with a Shimazu crest above, comes with a raised carved wood stand.

Diameter 5 in.
