Circa 1820s, New York or Philadelphia, mahogany veneer, white pine, mahogany and chestnut secondary, rectangular swivel hinged top, with game piece compartment, rounded corners, the skirt with bookmatched burl veneers and banded border lower edge, raised on two columnar legs, with stretcher, acanthus relief carved knees, reeded downswept legs, brass paw feet on casters.
