Early 20th century, finely painted with the Eight Daoist Immortals in a famille rose palette, figures are rendered in great detail to their costume and the attributes they each hold, they are featured on crossing the ocean of stylized waves each using their own unique power, combining as a team to cross the water, the lesson being a group working together is greater than the individuals working alone, calligraphy in black with red seals graces the other side of the jardiniere, with a raised wooden stand.
