Yodo River (Yodogawa) by Toshi Yoshida (Japanese, 1911-1995)

Mid 20th century, woodblock print, ink and colors on paper, a subtle and peaceful image of the Yodo river, block-signed "Toshi Yoshida" with English title "Yodo River" in the bottom margin, titled and dated in Japanese in left hand margin together with the Jikoku, the first printing was in 1942, this may be a late printing, framed in Japan with "Kanda's Gallery B.O.Q." to reverse, not examined outside of the frame.
