Early 20th century, highly decorated imari bowl with turned lip, blanketed with elaborate kimono style patterns between scenes of a court lady from Tale of Genji in flowing court robes on a veranda, center of the bowl has a large basket brimming with flowers, underside has a double rimmed foot, with raised wooden stand.
