Antique, three parts joined together that are hinged to close completely, the center figure is Guanyin, the Bodhisattva of Compassion, the three figures have traces of gilt painting, the shrine is red to interior and black on the exterior, this shrine would have been carried during travels and used for prayer and devotion.

One wooden hinge has broken; three hinges missing pins; reticulated openwork on one side is broken and lost at top and at bottom and broken and lost over central figure; dirt, dust, and grime to surface; wear and nicks to wood; some cracking to lacquered wood on exterior.
