Among many other museums, Harold Altman has work in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Louvre in Paris. These lithographs were printed at the famed Mourlot Studio in Paris, the same studio that printed Picasso’s (and many other prominent artists) lithographs.
Altman studied at the Art Students League, Black Mountain College, Acadamie de la Grande Chaumier and the Cooper Union Art School. He taught art at UNC-Greensboro in the late 1960’s.
