A Chinese Carved Jade Censer with Cover

20th century, carving in a mottled dark celadon jade, assembled in three parts, with a floral carved and ring handled lid with a diapered reticulated pattern and relief carved medallions with bats carrying lingzhi, featuring a bail handle, well developed floral carved and ring handles, lid fits into a wide smooth rim with crown of ruyi around center, a reticulated body with flower and scroll design, reticulated standard with four rings on a raised circular base with relief carved scroll and stylized leaf. Testing shows that this piece is jade but unable to determine if jadeite or nephrite.

Fracture to both handles under floral carvings; overall good estate condition.
