The first with mark of Walker & Hall, Sheffield (1894), delicate foliate engraving surrounding a later inscription "KWB / 25th Jan 1853" (3.5 in.) (dent to handle, mis-shaping to cup and foot); the second with mark of James Ross, Glasgow (1879), ornately Indian inspired band of decoration incorporating tigers, birds, and gazelles against a diapered ground, no monogram (3 5/8 in.) (minor mis-shaping).
