20th century, a pair of Japanese on the tsuka part of the sword, often under the handle wrapping on a katana, these are beautifully crafted as golden dragons, presented here framed within a golden shadowbox with dark green mat framing with outside gilded frame, framed identically, not examined outside of the frame.
