Meiji period (1868-1912), ornately cast bronze vase, raised on a bell foot with thick rounded body and tapering neck, foot decorated with minogame long tailed turtles representing longevity, the center body with phoenixes in flight, all above a cloud incised ground, the neck has vines with berries and along the rim a key border, seal to underside.
