Meiji period (1868-1912), a two-section usubata crafted from heavy bronze, has three stylized elephant head legs topped with an urn section decorated in relief on both sides, one side with a dragon and one side with a tiger, a common theme in Japanese art, and two decorative scrolled handles flanking the sides, a large cover fits into urn for arranging and display of flowers.
