19th century or early, a black painted brass teapot with gold leaf inlay of lotus blossoms, birds, fish, and turtles, on the lid are two dragons encircling a flaming gold pearl finial, a fish handle to one side of the body, and a spout to the other shaped as a mythical beast, its head serving as a hinged cover.
