Late 20th century, made by Herbert Gerst and hand-painted by his wife Millicent Gerst, large rectangular top with black field featuring Venetian panels, sphinx figures, grape and foliate scroll design, raised on two rectangular paneled legs and feet with faux marble paint decoration and ormolu mounts.
