Qing dynasty (1644-1912), the ducks are carved standing with their wings outstretched, on their heads are tall pricket stands with circular drip holders incised with key motif, each bird is raised up on the back of a tortoise holding two serpents in a rounded dish with incised waves, lotus petal border, with three ruyi shaped feet to underside.

Some loss and possible repair one around rim of circular base; some rough areas to the jade; a break to pricket stem attached with museum wax; same pricket loose at drip holder.
