19th century, incredibly large porcelain charger hand painted with cranes in front of a large mountain with stylized clouds and kimono textile patterns cascading, within a shaped medallion to the right are chrysanthemums and traditional hay and bamboo fencing, underside with pattern of motifs in underglaze blue and spurs marks.

Some slight fretting to one small area of underside of rim; some kiln firing glaze defects; some minor losses to the enamels; significant loss to gilt.
