19th century, with bell shaped mouth, hand painted in iron red with foo lions holding ornately decorated balls surrounded by baby foo lions, vases painted to mirror each other, the reverse decorated with calligraphy on body and iron red seal script on neck above, pairs of small foo lions flank the neck of each vase.
