The first a parcel gilt playing card holder with "TW" sponsor's mark and London (1899) hallmarks, retailer's mark reads "Leuchars & Son / Geffroy Succ'r / Paris," period script monogram to hinged cover, including two sets of Cartes pour Dames (3.6 troy oz., 2 1/8 x 2 7/8 x 1 5/8 in.) (good estate condition); the second a .999 fine silver overlay scent bottle with mark of Alvin, period script monogram (5 in.) (loss to silver overlay on stopper).

By descent from the John Jacob Astor IV family of Rhinebeck, New York, through William Astor Drayton, the father of Countess Margaret (Peggy) Reventlow, philanthropist and patron of services for the blind
