A Japanese Gold Imari Umbrella Stand

Mid 20th century, a formal hand painted Imari pattern of flowers and birds within shaped medallions against a red ground with scrolling gold peony vines or cobalt blue ground, lappet leaves border the foot, stamped "Gold Imari" in gold to underside.
