Mark of Simpson, Hall, Miller & Co. of Wallingford, CT, circa 1870s, pattern number 1876; four pieces including a teapot (10 in.), sugar bowl with cover, creamer, and waste bowl; each handle featuring a sphinx head mount, the covers with lotus blossom finials, each raised on Pharaoh mask bracket feet, each engraved with foliate and avian motif, no monograms.
