Early 20th century, three bowls of varying size that nest together, each decorated with the Japanese folk story of Urashima Taro, a fisherman who rescues a long life turtle (minogame) and is rewarded by going to the Dragon King's palace, represented here with the Urashima Taro by the water's edge with the minogame swimming in the water, the Dragon King's palace in the background, signed "kutani" to the underside.
