All being portraits, many identified; the images mostly being associated with the Sergeant and Baker Families of Ohio, Iowa and Illinois; a quarter plate daguerreotype showing Mr. & Mrs. William Clarke Sergeant, circa 1850, is the earliest photograph present; the remaining images and are of family members, however a cdv lacking backmark or subject identification depicts a standing Union soldier armed with two revolvers; the lot contains approximately 25 cabinet cards, 60 cdvs, and 30 small tintypes in four albums.


The cabinet card album is 10 in. high

The images are generally in good estate condition; the albums have numerous defects: the cabinet card album lacks covers and spine; one cdv album is quite worn, but intact; the other two cdv albums have major issues with one lacking boards and disbound while the other has a broken spine.
