20th century, surmounted with a dome cover with a shishi lion finial holding a ball, the baluster body flanked by faux ornate elephant head handles, elaborate satsuma with raised moriage decoration in textile pattern ground and raised applique of two noble male figures in Heian period dress on one side and samurai figures on the reverse, sits on fitted satsuma base decorated in same manner and raised on five lion head mask feet
