20th century, a very fine wire filigree phoenix with cloisonne enamel accents and gilt highlights, carnelian gemstones on tail feathers, standing on one leg with turquoise and blue feather cascading down to the base, phoenix is solidly attached to base with pointed metal bit through the wood.
