A five piece set including a coffee pot (10.5 in.), teapot, hot water jug, parcel gilt sugar bowl with cover, and parcel gilt creamer. Each piece, excepting the coffee pot, with mark of John & Edward Barnard, London (1876) hallmarks; the coffee pot with mark of John Edward Bingham for Walker & Hall, Sheffield (1890); each of tapered form with fluted sides and bright cut engraving, beaded detailing to base, neck and covers; the coffee pot with ornate cast handle; the teapot and hot water jug with pain cast handles; the hot water jug with bearded mask beneath spout; no monograms. Sold with an Elkington & Co. silverplate waiter with rope twist motif and engraved scrolling decoration, 1874 date letter.
