20th century, one plate decorated with a scholarly arrangement of floral vase, scholar's rock and narcissus, a bowl of auspicious fruits, peaches and pomegranates on white ground, the other plate is decorated with plum blossoms emerging from a colorful craggy rock with a pair of birds on black ground, both with aqua blue underside, paper label "Made in the People's Republic of China" to underside of both.
