20th century, ink and colors on silk, two large portraits painted with great detail to the sitters, a husband and wife, each dressed in jewel colored fur trimmed winter robes with rank badges and wearing accessories of court nobility most notably the wife's opulent headdress with kingfisher feather phoenixes and jade and pearls cascading from edges, both figures are seated in carved wooden chairs with cracked ice hardstone footrest and lion mask feet, two red seals to upper portion of the husband's portrait, professionally framed with multiple mats, not examined outside of the frame.

DOA 47 x 32.5 in.

Good estate condition; some slight wear to frames at corners.
