20th century, includes a Chinese gilt bronze censer raised on three feet with a domed lid carved with dragons surrounding a jade flaming pearl finial amidst swirling clouds, body has high relief carved dragons chasing flaming pearls and one central mask of a roaring dragon head; body is flanked by two dragon mask handles, impressed seal mark to underside (6.5 x 7.25 in.; some discoloration to underside and around rims and edges; dirt to surface; impressed numbers to bottom of feet), and a smaller censer with Buddha flanked by Bodhisattvas on one side and lotus plants on the reverse, elephant head handles, cover surmounted with a foo lion holding a ball, raised on three legs (5 x 4.5 in.; rubbing and wear to surface; some white substance to crevices; patina to raised decoration; some slight fretting to rim.)
