20th century, based on Qing dynasty solider vases popular during the Qianlong period, each floor vase of baluster form with waisted neck, decorated in bright enamels with a pair of phoenix surrounded by large peony blooms rising from blue and gray rockwork in a lush garden, all within pink diaper bands, the domed cover decorated in same vibrant manner as vase and surmounted by a yellow foo lion finial, the combination of phoenix and peonies represents wealth and good fortune.

One foo lion finial is missing an eye; same jar has a tight hairline crack down the side; some rubbing and loss to enamels especially around base; some paper label residue.
