1920s, signed lower right "Curtis / Reno," an empty parked car, likely the photographer's, sits in the convergence of two dirt tracks wending through the baking desert towards a jumbled collection of utilitarian shacks. The image presented in a plain wooden frame behind two plates of glass.

DOA in frame 9 x 73 in.

In the 1920s and 1930s Roy Curtis was Reno's most sought after commercial photographer. In recent years his life and works were celebrated in an exhibit titled "Everyday Mysteries."

Minor damp stains; small area of loss to the right glass pane's upper left corner; some emulsion lifting to the lower central area of the image; presented in its original wooden frame, which has some chips and wear.
