A Very Fine Chinese Painting of A Lady

Qing dynasty (1644-1912), dated 1899, ink and colors on silk, a young noble lady seated at her dressing table looking into a round mirror set in an ornate carved wooden stand, her face, jewelry, clothing and table ornaments are all meticulously rendered with very fine detail, inscription to lower right side of painting together with a red artist's seal gives date as 1899 (Guangxu 25), hanging scroll now cut and framed, not examined outside of the frame.

DOA 62.5 x 23.5 in., SS 16.25 x 32.75 in.

Some water marks and discoloration to left hand side of the painting and mount; some dirt to surface on lower right section of the painting.
