Joseon dynasty (1392-1897), 19th century, colors on paper, a folding screen with two panels, one painted with elegant arching cherry blossom branches and wisteria, the other with white plum blossoms and bamboo, painted with graceful strokes, brocade border, purchased in Korea by an avid collector of Korean Minhwa folk painting.

DOA 60.75 x 33 in.; SS 41.5 x 11.5 in.

Some losses to paper; horizontal creases; repairs; some areas of discoloration and water spots; foxing spots; overall toning to paper.
