19th century, includes a pair that is slightly different in size, hand painted in the famille rose palette with boys and girls playing under fruit trees holding auspicious Chinese emblems like peaches, lotus blossoms, twin fish, and a ruyi scepter, with later wooden covers, and a smaller jar hand painted with figures riding a qilin within shaped medallions, flowers and double happiness symbols between the medallions, all against an emerald green ground, with wooden cover.
