20th century, rectangular in form with lobed body, sides of box are decorated with auspicious Chinese symbols in low relief, sides of box are flanked by mythical beast handles with floating rings, box is raised on four short legs, cover has four medallions at the corners and is surmounted by a forward facing horned dragon.
