A BFA graduate of California College of the Arts (formerly the California College of Arts and Crafts), Carole has a broad knowledge of art history, ceramic design, ceramic process, and object conservation. She has taught workshops at the Camberwell College of Arts in London, California State University at Sacramento, Teacher’s College at Columbia University, Hofstra University, Mendocino Art Center and Garrison Arts Center. In NYC she was associate professor at Parsons School of Design as well as at Marymount Manhattan College. She also taught ceramic art at the 92nd Street Y.

Her work resides in the collections of the Everson Museum, the Charles Wustum Museum, the Long Beach Museum of Art as well as numerous private collections.
