First half 20th century, walnut, mahogany and burlwood veneers, oak secondary, long rectangular top with slight serpentine edge, inset embossed and gilt leather writing surface, ormolu mounts, the front with three drawers with parquetry inlays, repeating inlays to sides and rear faux drawers, raised on bold cabriole legs with figural ormolu mounts and edge trim.
