The Estate of Jacqueline B. Holmes, Jacksonville, Florida

Jacqueline Holmes was one of the first nationally recognized business women in the arts. She was a mid-20th century pioneer as a contemporary art consultant, curator, and collector. She spent time working in New York, Atlanta, and her family ultimately settled in Jacksonville, Florida in the early 1960s. Throughout her career, Jacqueline developed an impressive client base of Fortune 500 companies, including IBM, AT&T, Merck & Co., Tupperware International, Walt Disney World, Mayo Clinic, and Bank of America. Her personal collection consisted of over 300 pieces in a wide range of mediums, including fine art prints, photographs, glass, modern decorative arts, and contemporary and vintage jewelry. An exhibition of works from her private collection is currently on view at MOCA Jacksonville, Florida, and is titled Breaking Boundaries: The Vision of Jacqueline Holmes.

A nice, strong impression.

Overall very good condition; few minor creases and unobtrusive smudges in margins.
