Conservation performed by Asahi Art Co., Ltd. in Tokyo during 1969 (from dated letter copy); losses over surface of all six panels and on edges where they join; discoloration on brocade and loss to brocade mounting and trim; water stains and water damage noticeable over the two center panels.
