Léon Danchin was a French artist known for his sporting scenes with dogs and birds. He studied at L'Ecole des Beaux Art in Paris and was accepted by the Salon des Artists at the mere age of sixteen. Danchin stayed in France with his family throughout his life and he was an avid hunter. It was from his sporting outings and that he was inspired and completed many of his hunting scenes.

The first in overall good condition; the second with toning and some white spots; not examined out of frames.
