Circa 1940, black fabric throughout, the turntable with play/stop and speed control, built-in speaker, RCA Victor reproducer, and needle well.

Being sold to benefit NC Modernist, non-profit documentation of Modernist houses across North Carolina.

The phonograph is inscribed "Ann Seltman" and belonged to 1950s WPTF (Raleigh) radio personality Ann Seltman Smart. Shortly after her marriage to George Smart, the couple was given a collection of "leaves" from the journal of English musician Sir George Smart. This 1907 book is included with the Victrola.

Operational; good used condition.
