First half of 20th century, circular bronze mirror with pair of cranes, long tailed tortoise, bamboo, pine, with inscription to left side, reverse is smooth, bamboo cord wrapped around the handle, black lacquered case with Japanese family crest mon to front cover.

Mirror 13 3/4 x 9 1/2 in.; Case 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 in.

Discoloration to bronze and developed patina to mirror; wear to bamboo handle; case has flaking and losses to lacquer at edges; some cracking to wood; some dirt to surface.
