Late 19th or early 20th century, bronze bell cast with two bearded and horned dragons joined to create a bell hanger over a band of cast fretwork with stylized taotie and downwards pointed cicada wing motifs with fretwork and ruyi clouds, bell hangs from an elaborately carved temple gate stand with a pair of guardian foo lions on lower side supports, incised simulated plaques with characters wishing good fortune, carved plum blossoms are scattered amidst a key motif fretwork in the lower section.

Stand 24 1/4 x 16 x 9 in.; Bell 9 3/4 x 6 1/2 in.

Stand with repair to fretwork over bell; some wear to carving in lower joint below bell; bell has hole directly below dragon hanger; some loss and discoloration to areas of bell.
