19th century, includes one with carved bone body and embroidered cream silk having a bird, butterfly and flora in pastel hues, with tassel (8 3/4 in.; a slight bend to one side when closed); a hand painted paper fan fully decorated in bright bold colors both sides with scenes of noble figures at court with borders in pink and silver containing auspicious motifs, black lacquer with gilt decoration fan body, with tassels, comes with a lacquered and gilt wooden box labeled Yeu Sing to interior lid (7 7/8 in.; good estate condition); and a larger fan with carved mother of pearl body and similarly decorated paper fan to previous, comes in a fitted red lacquer and gilt box with red silk interior painted with three of the Immortals (11 1/8 in.; one end rib is broken at middle; two rib holders with tears at middle where rib has come out; locking mechanism on box does not function.).
