Nicolai Kuvshinoff was a Neo-Cubist artist who immigrated to the United States with his family from Russia when he was a young child. They first lived in Minnesota, then moved to Seattle. Kuvshinoff was a practicing artist alongside his wife, Bertha, who was also an painter. His works are present in a number of international museum collections.
