Bob Fentress (1893-1951), Back Bay, Virginia. Bob was a farmer and market hunter who worked out of Redhead Bay and North Bay. This stylish bluebill was made from a cypress knee as most of his decoys were. It is an excellent example of his work. This exact decoy is pictured on page 21 of Gunnin' Birds by Kroghie Andresen.
