Delbert Hudson (1928-1980), Chincoteague, Virginia. Ira quoted Dippers to Mr W.L. Dunton in 1928, the year Delbert was born, for $10 per dozen. This was not a common order for the Hudsons and few remain in collections today. This diminutive decoy has a carved "H" in the bottom, circa 1950.
