John McAnney (1866-1949), New Gretna, New Jersey. John was a bayman, salt hay farmer, sea captain, gunner, and a guide to hunting parties. This beautiful goose has a nice dry surface and was rigged to be both a floater and a stake up. RD brand painted on the bottom, hollow.
